Privacy Policy

P-WAG LLC ("P-WAG," "we," "us") operates p-wag.com and the P-WAG mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Our plain-language promises live on our Privacy Pledge page — this policy is the full disclosure behind those promises.
1. Information We Collect
Member information. When you register as a member, we collect your name, email address, and optional details such as your branch number and general location (city, state, ZIP code). We do not ask for your route, your schedule, or your work location.
Provider information. When a business registers as a service provider, we collect the business name, contact details (name, email, phone, address), business description, categories, images, and plan information the business submits.
Reviews and content. When you post a review or contact a provider through the platform, we collect the content you write.
Payment information. Provider subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles card data directly, and we receive only the transaction status needed to activate your plan.
Technical information. Like most websites, we receive standard log information (browser type, device type, pages visited) needed to run and secure the platform. We use cookies only to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Operate your account and the Directory
- Show providers and deals relevant to your area
- Deliver the notifications you choose (real-time emails or weekly digest — you control this in the Member Portal, and you can turn it off entirely)
- Process provider subscription payments through Stripe
- Verify and vet providers before they appear in the Directory
- Communicate with you about your account, changes to the platform, and the updates you ask for
We do not sell, rent, or trade member information to anyone — no advertisers, no data brokers, no exceptions.
3. How We Share Your Information
- Providers you contact. When you send a connection request or contact a provider, that provider receives only your name, your email, and the message you write. Your profile, location, and preferences stay private.
- Stripe. Payment data goes directly to Stripe for processing, under Stripe's own privacy policy.
- Service providers. We share the minimum necessary with vendors that help us run the platform (for example, email delivery and hosting).
- Legal requirements. We disclose information only when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of P-WAG and its users.
4. Data Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information only while your account is active, plus any period the law requires for business records. Request deletion and we remove your profile and preferences from the platform.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correct. You can view and update your information anytime in the Member Portal, or email us and we will do it for you.
- Delete. Email paulf@p-wag.com and we will remove your profile and preferences — no questions asked. Full details and the deletion request steps are on our Delete Account page.
- Notifications. Choose real-time emails, a weekly digest, or turn notifications off entirely, and change it anytime.
- Non-members. If you browse the Directory without registering, we collect no member information about you beyond standard technical logs.
7. Children
P-WAG serves adults. The platform is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Third-Party Links
The Directory and resources link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we post the update on this page with a new effective date. Material changes come with notice to registered members.
